Congratulations to all of our tournament champions and runners-up! We had an unbelievable weekend of soccer, with extremely competitive matches on the field...and great fun off of it! We will see all of you next year!
The Gainesville Soccer Alliance, the University of Florida and the City of Gainesville are all extremely proud to announce that the Gator Soccer Showcase will be back by popular demand in 2009! The girls' Gator Showcase is one of the fastest growing tournaments in Florida, exploding from 44 teams our inaugural season to 140 last year!
Why is the Gator Showcase so popular? Well...besides having over a dozen brackets of competitive soccer, we offer a number of extras that other tourneys don't: an opportunity to play on the beautiful fields of the University of Florida, free admission to a showcase match between the University of Florida's varsity soccer team and another top-flight collegiate soccer program, free admission to a showcase match featuring UF soccer alumni, and a free tour of the UF campus for all players U14 and under given by the Gator soccer players! No other youth soccer tournament in the Country offers the same unique collegiate soccer experience!
We are also excited to announce that once again we will be using the beautiful new fields at GSA's Jonesville Park as our host site! ALL TOURNAMENT PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE FREE ENTRY TO A EXHIBITION MATCH BETWEEN THE FLORIDA GATORS AND ANOTHER TOP-FLIGHT COLLEGIATE SOCCER PROGRAM!
ALL TOURNAMENT TEAMS U14 AND UNDER WILL BE ABLE TO GET A FLORIDA PLAYER AS A TOURNAMENT HOST, WHO WILL SHOW THEM AROUND CAMPUS AND LET THEM KNOW WHAT IT’S LIKE (AND WHAT IT TAKES) TO BE A COLLEGIATE ATHLETE!
Last year over 4,000 screaming soccer fans packed the UF Soccer Complex to watch the Gator Showcase exhibition match between the Florida Gators and the Florida State Seminoles!
Curtis Paris presents a $10,000 sponsorship check to Gator Showcase tournament director Alan Womack and a few of his friends!

The staff here at the Gator Soccer Showcase is very excited about a new partnership with Local Replay! Local Replay is a new interactive multimedia website devoted to amateur athletics! It can provide FREE websites for high school teams and FREE webpage for individual players! Teams can post their schedules, unlimited pictures and videos for their parents and fans to enjoy! Players can have a bio, stats and pictures to help in recruiting, or just for fun! The sites will stay up for as long as you need them, and they are COMPLETELY FREE! Make sure you check it out!
